1. Acceptance
By downloading or using the Pixelbite app, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the app.
2. Description of the Service
Pixelbite is a nutrition-tracking app that analyzes photos of your meals to estimate nutritional value, calculates a personalized calorie/macro target, and helps you track your progress through a gamified experience. The app is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment; you should consult a healthcare professional for decisions related to nutrition or health.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information for your account and for maintaining its security. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.
4. Subscription and Billing (Pixelbite Pro)
Pixelbite Pro is an optional subscription tier offered within the app. Where offered, the free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription on the specified date and is billed to your App Store/Google Play account. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Prices and trial periods are subject to the current information shown at the time of purchase within the app.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
Subscription management and cancellation are handled through your App Store/Google Play account settings — the app cannot perform these actions directly. Refund requests are subject to the relevant store’s (Apple/Google) refund policies.
6. User Conduct
You may not use the app for unlawful purposes, in a way that infringes on others’ rights, or in a way that disrupts the normal operation of the service.
7. Intellectual Property
The design, pixel-art assets, branding, and software in the app belong to Pixelbite. You may not copy or distribute them without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is." Nutritional value estimates are approximate and accuracy is not guaranteed. Pixelbite cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. You will be notified within the app of any significant changes.
